At the ripe old age of three, my parents doomed me to a life in advertising via an unsolicited promotion to middle child. A role that honed my ability to steal limited attention. And made me instinctively drawn to brands that need the work to work.
For over 14 years I've been harnessing that childhood trauma as a Creative Director and writer for brands spanning booze to beauty, streaming to snacks, fashion to finance. I've shaped creative at global machines like MullenLowe (RIP) and scrappy indies like Burns Group (acquired by Tombras), helping one shop win 12 new accounts in a single year. My work has been high-fived at Cannes, The One Show, the Shorty Awards, the Webbys, and ADC, sparked debates on The Today Show and NPR, and enraged the right internet trolls. And it always punches above its media budget like only work created by a second born could.
When I'm not making things that make people pay attention, I moonlight as the millennial equivalent of a Las Vegas Elvis — making love legally binding, one internet-ordained ceremony at a time.
