WORDS ARE A POWERFUL THING.
Workplace bias doesn’t always show up in obvious ways. Often, it hides in the words people use to describe women. So we built a plug-in to catch it in real time.
Think spell check, but for gender bias. Made for Slack and Teams, BiasCorrect privately flags biased language and suggests better alternatives before the message gets sent.
To get people to the tool, we launched a global campaign that let women turn the words used against them into bold, shareable statements. A group of powerhouse women who knew those labels all too well, including Hillary Clinton, helped us kick it off.
